Fresh Cranberry Recipe Link Up

If you’ve been reading this blog for a while then you’ll know that I love fresh cranberries and get very excited when I see them start to appear in the shops again each year. I’ve baked quite a few different things using fresh cranberries and have also used them in a savoury crumble with some of my Christmas leftovers. As I’m sure there are more people than just me who love cooking and baking with fresh cranberries I’ve decided to host a recipe link up to run from now until the end of the year for people to share their fresh cranberry recipes and hopefully to inspire you if the only thing you’ve made with them before is cranberry sauce. They are a versatile berry in both sweet and savoury dishes and once again I shall be stocking my freezer with them so I will have a supply during 2014. Last year I bought 1.1kg in total and will probably do the same again this year, maybe I’m a tad obsessed but surely there’s worse things to be obsessed about?

Here’s the cranberry creations I’ve blogged so far.

So I’ve shown you my cranberry recipes, why not show me yours? Feel free to link up any blog posts featuring fresh cranberries that you have. These don’t have to be new posts, anything from your archives is fine, though of course if you do write any new posts this year then please feel free to link them up too. This is not just restricted to baking either, savoury dishes are more than welcome as are any amazing cranberry sauce recipes that you want to share. The only 2 things that I ask are that the linked posts contain fresh cranberries as they are only on sale for a short time but we can buy dried cranberries all year round, and that you include a link back to this post please to help spread the word.

These all look amazing, you’ve inspired me to go and buy some fresh cranberries, I’ve cooked with dried before.

All the bakes here look good but I’m drawn to the cranberry and cinnamon muffins. I made some Nigella mince pies with a cranberry mince. Tastes slightly sharp but I like them that way.

I use lots of fresh cranberries, but the only fresh cranberry recipe I’ve posted so far is my cranberry-orange sauce. I’ve also posted just a few of my dried cranberry recipes. Can’t wait to check out the recipes here!

Ok I really was going to enter, but it seems all of the fresh cranberries are gone. Having to use dried cranberries instead unfortunately.
